According to the Investigative Committee, a criminal case has been initiated against four students from one of Sevastopol, suspected of kidnapping a person by a group of persons by prior agreement for mercenary motives (paragraphs “a”, “h”, part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigative department for the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol found that on the night of March 13 of this year, young people aged 19-22 near the bookmaker’s office on Yuri Gagarin Avenue forcibly put their friend into a Kia Rio car, who, playing at bets, owed them 250 thousand rubles. In order to return the money, and the amount of the debt, the accomplices have now raised to 500 thousand, the victim was beaten and driven around the city in the trunk of a car.
