Volumes of wholesale sales of groceries in May of the current year decreased by about 2 times compared to April. Over the past week, large wholesalers shipped tons of sugar at fixed prices 200 at a fixed price 73 rub/kg (on store shelves – 25 rub/kg), 25 tons of buckwheat at 103 rub/kg (on store shelves -69 rub/kg ), 25 tons of rice – rub ( on store shelves — 25 rub). At present, prices are stable in the Republic of Crimea for items of food products, for example, wheat flour, rice and buckwheat cereals, pasta, sugar sand, milk and other products , — reported the press service of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea.
The departments also announced that prices for 8 types of food products have decreased, including onions, cabbage, cucumbers, fresh tomatoes.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry of Crimea noted that the government of the republic had carried out work to minimize intermediary chains, organized the work of retail business entities directly with large wholesale organizations, which allows minimizing the trade margin, which, in some cases, could previously exceed the purchase price of goods.
