Today, a dead dolphin was found on the beach «Elm Grove» near Orlovka. Ecologists are almost sure that this is one of the wanted by the whole world bottlenose dolphins ruthlessly released into the sea by the owner of the dolphinarium in Sevastopol. At least the animal was microchipped.

According to preliminary information, perhaps this is one of our 4 bottlenose dolphins — Zoya. Now the police, veterinary supervision, specialists of Sevprirodnadzor and other services are working on the spot. As soon as the chip is read, we will receive % confirmation. Let me remind you that scientists, caring Sevastopol residents and volunteers all these days continued to conduct observations on the coastline of the Sevastopol bays. So far, the version that it will be difficult for dolphins to restore their natural hunting skills for self-procurement of food, unfortunately, is confirmed. Perhaps there will be cases of finding the remaining bottlenose dolphins in shallow water in a weakened state.
