This morning (at the beginning of the ninth) an incident was recorded on the railway in the Crimea. On the line «Simferopol — Sevastopol», near the village of Chistenkoye (9 km from the Crimean capital towards Bakhchisaray), wagons with grain left the tracks. Local residents are talking about an explosion, the version of sabotage has not been officially confirmed, but there is a funnel on the tracks. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
In the Simferopol region, wagons with grain derailed. There were no casualties, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Igor Nikolaevich Mikhailichenko and relevant departments are working on the spot. The movement of electric trains on the stage «Simferopol — Sevastopol» has been suspended. Bus transfers will be organized for passengers. I’m in control of the situation— said the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
According to him, the specialized services understand the causes of the situation on the railway in the Simferopol region. Work is underway to restore traffic. On the line «Simferopol — Sevastopol» came additional buses that carry passengers of trains and electric trains.
The Ministry of Transport of Crimea reports as follows:
The movement of electric trains on the stage Simferopol — Sevastopol has been temporarily suspended. Passengers will be transported to these stations by buses. The resumption of traffic will be announced later.
