Investment projects worth more than 9.7 billion rubles agreed in Crimea

Investment projects in the areas of construction, resorts and tourism for a total amount of planned investments of over 9.7 billion rubles were agreed at a meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate in the Republic of Crimea.
Investment projects are different and relate to different areas of the economy and will be implemented in the western, southern, eastern and central parts of the Crimean peninsula. The total amount of planned investments will be over 9.7 billion rubles, it is planned to create about 200 new jobs— quotes the press service of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
The investor plans to implement the largest project in the city of Saki. It will be a modern tourist apart-complex with an arboretum, a cascading pool, a gastro-quarter with a restaurant, a food court, a cafe, a bar, a children’s cafe, and a spa complex.
A very interesting project, which is aimed at the development of the western part of the Crimean peninsula. The planned amount of investments will be more than 8.7 billion rubles, which is important for the region — it is planned to create 140 new jobs. Looking forward to the soonest implementation— said Irina Kiviko.
During the meeting of the council, an investment project for the renovation of the Miskhor-Ai-Petri cable car was approved. The purpose of the implementation of the investment project is the renovation of the existing unified property complex, consisting of facilities and structures of the cable car. It is planned to introduce automation for the facility’s security systems, replace traction cables, install a monitoring system for temperature sensors of rotating parts, upgrade electrical equipment, perform repair and restoration work on building structures and process equipment. The planned investment will amount to 150 million rubles. Old jobs will be saved and new jobs will be created.
Another project with a total planned investment of more than 853 million rubles is being implemented by an investor in Yalta by building a 9-storey apartment building. In the Simferopol region, the investor plans to build a warehouse complex for 42.9 million rubles.
Reference: Currently, within the framework of investment agreements in the Republic of Crimea, 257 investment projects are being implemented with a total investment of 455.15 billion rubles, it is planned to create 14.15 thousand permanent jobs. Since the beginning of 2023, 4 investment projects have been concluded in the republic, the planned investment volume will be 192.55 million rubles.
