Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation: apartments remain available for purchase by the population

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A very controversial point of view that apartments remain available for purchase by the population was voiced on the margins of the Eastern Economic Forum by Izvestia Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Nikita Stasishin.

If you look at the dynamics at the beginning of the year, then the price of housing is growing less than inflation, and, accordingly, we see today, one might say, the stagnation of prices in the housing construction market. Thus, taking into account the current preferential programs, the mortgage rate is affordable, apartments are available for the population , — he said.

According to Stasyshyn, there are a lot of offers on the housing market now, so prices are not rising.

Slowly, the price is being adjusted, taking into account the fact that we have gained a fairly good pace of housing construction over the two pandemic years. There are a lot of square meters, that is, offers on the market today — accordingly, taking into account the large supply, this ultimately limits the price per square meter , — said Stasishin.

He also noted that at the end of the year, prices for residential real estate will not increase more than the rate of inflation.
