Today, Yulia Gavrilova, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of Sevastopol, answered the questions that citizens ask on social networks. The head of Sevprirodnadzor spoke about the work of the directorate of specially protected natural areas and forestry. This month, work on sanitary cleaning and removal of fallen trees took place on the territory of the natural monument «Ushakova Balka».
Thanks to our caring citizens who contact us and monitor the state of specially protected natural areas. There were more than 100 fallen trees on the territory, more than 70% of the work has been completed at the moment. The plans include the improvement of the territories of «Ushakova Balka» and «Pistachios near the Kruglaya Bay ,» said Yulia Gavrilova.
Residents of Sevastopol can leave their appeal on the preservation of natural monuments through the mobile application “Gosuslugi. We solve together”, the “Report a problem” window on the website of Sevprirodnadzor, as well as in the official accounts of the department in social networks.
In addition, during the broadcast, the head of Sevprirodnadzor told how the process of landfill reclamation works. In 2015 year, places of environmental damage were identified — territories where not only waste was stored, but also the soil was polluted. This year, two such landfills are planned to be eliminated — these are Trenzina Balka and Suzdal Heights.
We have been moving towards this for several years, developing the necessary documents and passing the state environmental review. Since this year, we have become participants in the national project, two of our applications were approved , — emphasized the director of the Department.
The work will be carried out in two stages: first, polluted soil will be removed, then noble soil will be brought in and green spaces will be planted.
