Stubbornness does not lead to good. The story about car tinting from Dzhankoy

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Dzhankoy police officers again held the driver liable for refusing to remove the tint.

Traffic police in Dzhankoy stopped a Volkswagen Passat driven by a 28-year-old local resident. When examining the car, the inspectors found that the light transmission capacity of the windshield and front side windows did not meet the established requirements.

Upon further verification, it was found that in April of this year, employees of the State traffic inspectorate had already brought the driver to administrative responsibility under Part 3.1 of Art. 12.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for such a violation, but did not eliminate it. In this regard, the man was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility under Part 3.1 of Art. 12.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the applied tinting, as well as under Part 1 of Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for non-compliance with established requirements— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The Dzhankoy District Court issued a decision to impose an administrative arrest for a period of two days on the driver.

The State traffic inspectorate recalls that in accordance with the technical regulations on the safety of wheeled vehicles, the light transmission capacity of the windshield, as well as the front side windows, must be at least 70%. It is forbidden to use glass, the coating of which creates a mirror effect. On the windshield, it is allowed to use a narrow strip on top, not more than 140 mm wide.
