The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea recalled the fines for those who voluntarily or involuntarily started a forest fire

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea draws the attention of citizens to the increased responsibility for violation of fire regulations in forests.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law «On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation«. Document amends Article 8.32 (CAO).

The following fines are set for violation of fire safety rules in forests:

– for citizens from thousand to 25 thousand rubles (previously it ranged from 1.5 thousand to 3 thousand rubles);

— for officials — from 30 thousand to 110 thousand rubles (previously was from thousand to thousand rubles;

— for legal entities — from 50 thousand to 400 thousand rubles (previously was from 50 thousand to 150 thousand rubles).

For burning brushwood, forest litter, dry grass and other forest combustible materials in violation of the requirements of fire safety rules on land directly adjacent to forests, the following financial penalties are introduced:

– for citizens, the fine will be from 30 thousand to 40 thousand rubles (before that they ranged from 3 thousand to 4 thousand rubles);

– for officials, a fine is provided from 20 thousand to 40 thousand rubles (previously was from 00 thousand to 10 thousand rubles);

— for legal entities — from 150 thousand to 200 thousand rubles (previously it was from 150 thousand to 250 thousand rubles).

If the violation of fire safety rules caused the outbreak of a forest fire without causing serious harm to human health, and these actions (inaction) do not contain signs of a criminally punishable act, then the fines are:

— for citizens from 50 thousand to 40 thousand rubles (before that it was 5 thousand rubles);

— for officials — from 50 thousand to 110 thousand rubles (previously amounted to 30 thousand rubles).

— for legal entities will be from 1 million to 2 million rubles (before that it was from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles (up to this was from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles).

In addition, for violation of fire safety requirements that resulted in a fire and causing serious harm to human health or death of a person, a fine for legal entities will be from 1 million to 2 million rubles or an administrative suspension of activities for a period of up to 90 days. Previously, this provided for a fine from 250 thousand to 1 million rubles or an administrative suspension of activities for a period of up to 50 days.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that since : 00 hours 20 May 500 of the year, by order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, a special fire regime has been introduced on the peninsula.

During the special fire regime, it is strictly forbidden to burn dry grass, garbage and carry out fire hazardous work within the boundaries of rural and urban settlements, urban districts, horticultural and horticultural non-profit partnerships, at enterprises, on lands of all categories — with the exception of works carried out by specialized organizations in order to prevent forest fires. At the same time, violation of the requirements of fire safety rules in the forest and in areas directly adjacent to forests is prosecuted by law , the emergency department recalled.
