The procedure for granting temporary asylum for foreign citizens arriving from Ukraine, DPR, LPR

Foreign citizens arriving on the territory of the Russian Federation from Ukraine, DPR, LPR can apply to the nearest territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the place of stay with an application for temporary asylum on the territory of the Russian Federation , — noted in the press service of the department.

When applying for temporary asylum, the following are provided:

1. Identity document.

2. Documents confirming family relations (for example, a birth certificate of a child).

3. Photos sized 3.5 x 4.5, on matte paper (4 pcs.). In their absence, photographing can be organized by the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in an exceptional manner.

Asylum applicants are subject to mandatory fingerprint registration.

The application form for temporary asylum is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, it can also be obtained by contacting the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the place of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation, at temporary accommodation points.
