The State Council awarded Crimean women who made a significant contribution to the development of the Republic

On the eve of the holiday on March 8, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, presented state awards and insignia of the State Council to the Crimeans, who made a significant contribution to the development of the Republic. Among the awardees are scientists, athletes, teachers, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and cultural figures.

According to Vladimir Konstantinov, «women share with us all the hardships of today’s difficult day.»

They take care of our children, they are the guardians of the family hearth. At the same time, they live an active social life, and such areas as education, medicine, culture cannot be imagined without them,” said the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea,

Vladimir Konstantinov noted the special features of the Crimean women:

Without their assistance, nothing would have happened in Crimea. During the Crimean spring, they participated in rallies and pickets, one of the first companies of our militia was female. Today they participate in the volunteer movement, help new regions of Russia, and often stand with weapons in their hands shoulder to shoulder with male warriors. Many mothers, wives, daughters are waiting for their relatives with SVO, which is also a feat. I am sure that with the support of our women we will succeed!
