The Kirovsky District Court sentenced a 40-year-old resident of Astrakhan to 2 years and 2 months in prison to be served in a penal colony.

Along with this, the court ordered the perpetrator to pay the victims the amount of material damage caused by the crime in the amount of 568,700 rubles. The court found that the defendant, having promised the partner’s mother and her friend to help in acquiring cars in good condition at a reduced price, received from these persons funds in the amount of 548,500 rubles intended for the purchase of cars. In turn, the cars were not purchased by the victims, and the defendant turned the stolen money into her property and disposed of it at her own discretion.— noted in the press service of the court.

However, this did not seem enough to the defendant, and some time later, having illegally entered the apartment of the failed mother-in-law, she secretly stole money in the amount of 16,000 rubles.

At the hearing, the defendant fully admitted her guilt, repented of her deed, and apologized to the victims.

The verdict did not enter into force.
