On the railway section of the line «Simferopol — Sevastopol», near the village of Chistenkoye, in the Simferopol region, where the cars derailed this morning, repair work has been completed. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.

At the same time, the Republican Ministry of Transport announced the strengthening of security measures.
Our security measures have already been strengthened. Now we are waiting for the results of the investigation into the reasons that led to such consequences, additional measures will be developed as a result, and security will be strengthened— said the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Lukashenko.
According to him, the full list of measures will be determined in interdepartmental cooperation, including an increase in the number of detours, visual inspections of the tracks.
