«CRIMEA-SPAS» monitors places of mass recreation, hiking trails and parking

In order to prevent injuries and minimize the risks of emergencies, groups of rescuers from all units of the KRYM-SPAS, together with volunteer rescuers from the KRO ROSSOYUZSPAS, patrol in places of mass recreation, hiking trails and parking lots.
Belogorsk emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» provides security in places of mass recreation along the route: «Belogorsk — with. Novoklyonovo — Adzhi-Koba cave, — Kara-Tau mountain — Karabi Yayla plateau — Karabi weather station — Alakat-Bogaz pass — Uskut waterfall — Upper Kok-Asan campsite — Lower Kok-Asan campsite — with. Krasnoselovka — Belogorsk.
The Bakhchisaray emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» controls the mountainous forest area in the area of the cave cities of Tepe-Kermen, Chufut-Kale, Mangup-Kale.
Rescuers of the Yalta detachment regularly provide security in the area of the Ai-Petri plateau.
During the patrol, preventive conversations are held with tourists on compliance with fire safety rules while in the mountainous forest zone and safety regulations when traveling on routes. Particular attention is paid to the registration of tourist groups, they remind that from May 16, 2023, a new Procedure for informing the territorial bodies of the EMERCOM of Russia about the routes of movement passing through difficult terrain has been approved.
Also, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations remind vacationers that ticks are now active in Crimea. Also, employees of the emergency department draw the attention of citizens to plants — allergens, the list and appearance of which must be studied before entering the mountainous forest area— said in the emergency department.
Crimean rescuers remind vacationers that with the establishment of dry and windy weather, the number of fires has increased on the peninsula. With such fires, the risk of forest fires increases. Therefore, citizens should pay special attention to fire safety. Also, lifeguards inform vacationers about possible changes in weather conditions. Tourists are given emergency phone numbers and handouts. The contact numbers of the rescue service are placed on information stands and signs in places of mass recreation.
