Fire in the Bakhchisaray village of Kholmovka. An unfinished, but already residential building caught fire

On March 15, at 16:34, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a signal about a fire in the village of Kholmovka (Bakhchisaray district). An on-duty shift of the fire station 112 of the village of Krasny Mak of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea”, as well as a subdivision of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, was sent to the scene of the incident.
Upon arrival, firefighters found out that the roof of a two-story, private residential building was on fire. There is a threat of fire spreading to the house. Residents got their bearings in time and evacuated on their own.
Having previously carried out reconnaissance and found 4 gas cylinders, firefighters evacuated them to a safe place. At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly laid hose lines and began to extinguish the fire. Within 2 hours and 20 minutes, the fire was localized and eliminated. Its area was 225 sq. meters— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The fire partially destroyed the roof of the building. There were no casualties. Experts are investigating the causes of the incident.
