In Crimea, EMERCOM of Russia employees will ensure the safety of parishioners and churches on Christmas
On the night of January 6-7, Orthodox believers will celebrate one of the main Christian holidays — Christmas. In Crimea, in all temples and churches, the Divine Liturgy will be held. Thousands of believers will take part in it, the safety of which will be ensured by specialists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and emergency response services.
In order for the festivities to pass safely, inspectors from the State Fire Supervision Ministry of Emergencies of Russia carried out preventive raids in advance to monitor compliance with fire safety requirements in all religious institutions of the peninsula. This year in Crimea, temples and churches will be involved in the Christmas celebrations, — reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
During preventive visits, specialists from the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Crimea checked the availability and operability of fire alarms, the condition of primary fire extinguishing equipment and emergency exits. Particular attention was paid to the abbots and workers of the temples. They were given additional briefings on fire safety requirements and the algorithm of actions in case of a fire.
In addition to preventive measures, during the period of festive services, the most visited churches and temples will have round-the-clock duty of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
