In Simferopol, the prosecutor’s office carried out an audit of compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation in the field of waste management of consumer production in the activities of a municipal unitary enterprise. The fact of unauthorized storage of waste on the territory of the enterprise, outside specially equipped premises intended for their placement, was revealed.

Plot of 12 sq. meters was littered with tires and other plastic, wood and metal waste.

In view of the identified violation, the city prosecutor initiated against the responsible person — the head of the transport and maintenance department, an administrative offense case under Part 1 of Art. 8.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-compliance with the requirements in the field of environmental protection when handling production and consumption waste). Based on the results of his consideration, the guilty person was issued a warning.— reported in the supervisory department.

Also, in order to eliminate the violation by the prosecutor’s office, a submission was made to the enterprise, at the request of the prosecutor, the unauthorized waste dump was liquidated.
