It is preliminary established that on March 1 at 16:40 — on the highway Sudak — Novy Svet — a 33-year-old driver, driving a Toyota Corolla, moving from Sudak in the direction of the settlement. Novyi Svet, in violation of traffic rules, drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Daewoo Matiz car driven by a 32-year-old driver.

As a result of an accident, a 55-year-old passenger of a Daewoo Matiz car and a one-year-old passenger of a Toyota Corolla car were injured and taken to a medical facility. The child at the time of the accident was in the back seat of the car on the left in a child restraint appropriate for the weight and height of the child. Police officers were at the scene of the accident.
