Operatives in Sevastopol detained a suspect in the theft of more than 150 thousand rubles from a bank card

The attacker spent the money stolen from a bank card on purchases and entertainment.
It was established that a 26-year-old local resident, being a hotel employee and having access to a bank card belonging to the administration of the institution, took advantage of this circumstance and secretly abducted her. At the nearest ATM, the man cashed out 153 thousand rubles and disappeared. As a result of operational-search activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district detained the suspect. As the police found out, he had previously been prosecuted for theft and fraud, — noted in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
A criminal case was initiated against the suspect under part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», he faces up to six years in prison.
