CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of a working trip to Krasnoperekopsk, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov examined the Pobeda Square after improvement. The work was completed in 2022.
Children’s and sports grounds have been installed on the territory of the square, recreation areas, parking have been organized, lighting has been provided, and green spaces have been planted. According to the city authorities, this public area is popular with local residents.
In Krasnoperekopsk, the construction of a 72-apartment residential building for citizens from among the rehabilitated peoples has also been completed. Recreation areas are equipped here, access roads are repaired. Soon, apartments will begin to be handed over to citizens belonging to this category.
Vladimir Konstantinov also toured the premises of the children’s and youth sports school.
Today, about 500 children study at the institution. There are sections for fencing, freestyle wrestling, bullet shooting, volleyball, football and other sports. Pupils regularly perform at competitions of different levels and demonstrate positive results.
Part of the school premises is located in the city’s Palace of Culture. With the support of investors, the building was partially renovated. However, the roof needs to be replaced. This issue will be taken up by the State Council.
The Speaker of the Crimean Parliament also visited the Brom and Crimean Soda Plant enterprises. According to the management of the joint-stock company Brom, the investor invested about 1.5 billion rubles in the modernization of the plant, and the purchase of modern equipment had a positive impact on the environmental situation.
At the Crimean Soda Plant Joint-Stock Company, 2022 ended with decent indicators — new equipment was put into operation, and the volume of output increased. Produced goods are shipped to foreign countries.
Vladimir Konstantinov thanked the staff of enterprises for their contribution to the development of the chemical industry and presented the employees with state awards and insignia of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
Issues related to the development of housing and communal services in Krasnoperekopsk and Krasnoperekopsk district were discussed at an off-site meeting of the State Council Committee on Housing Policy and Housing and Communal Services.
In 2023, a large-scale project for the construction of treatment facilities will begin in Krasnoperekopsky District. This will significantly improve the quality of water. For Crimea, this is a breakthrough project; similar facilities have been built in just a few regions of Russia. Against the backdrop of the implementation of such major projects on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the return of Crimea to Russia, it is important to resolve current issues. This is also the aim of our working trips. Thanks to them, we can keep abreast, deal with problems that are most acute for people.Vladimir Konstantinov said.
