In June 2019, the Alushta City Court found Kruglov guilty of illegal manufacture, possession and carrying of improvised explosive devices, as well as public calls for extremist activities, and sentenced him to one year and eight months in prison and a fine of 60,000 rubles.
According to the Federal Security Service of the Republic of Crimea, in July 2018, officers of the special services at the place of residence of Kruglov discovered and seized two home-made devices with damaging elements made by him, disguised as a thermos and a bottle. Also, being an adherent of pagan ideology, he published a message from his page on social networks containing calls for violent actions against a group of people on the basis of religious affiliation. During the investigation, a resident of Crimea fully admitted his guilt.
