He stole money — bad, but very bad when he robbed his own mother. Case in the Simferopol region

In the Simferopol region, police officers detained a suspect in stealing money from his mother.
The duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Simferopol District received a statement from a local resident, who said that her son allegedly stole money in the amount of 540,000 rubles from her safe. District police officers located and detained the suspect in one of the hotels in the city of Simferopol.
During the investigation, it was established that the young man, having information that there was a safe with cash in the house, took advantage of the absence of relatives and entered the dwelling through the window. Having reached the metal safe, the attacker took it out into the yard, sawed out a hole in the back wall with a grinder and took the money, after which he returned the safe to its original place in the house— told the details in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The suspect confessed to his deed and told the police that he had spent 520,000 rubles for personal needs.
After discovering the loss from the safe, the woman wrote a statement to the police that her son had previously stolen a gold chain belonging to her and other valuable personal items.the police said.
The investigative department of the MIA of Russia for the Simferopol region initiated three (!) criminal cases on the grounds of the elements of crimes provided for in Parts 2 and 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”).
