In Dzhankoy, a verdict was passed in a criminal case against a 43-year-old local resident. He was found guilty by the court of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

During the trial, it was established that in June last year a man, being in a state of intoxication, being in a house on the street. of the Paris Commune in the city of Dzhankoy, during the conflict that arose between him and his acquaintance, using a utility knife as a murder weapon, stabbed the latter one stab in the chest area. The man died at the scene from his injuries. The attacker pleaded partially guilty to the alleged crime— reported in the Crimean prosecutor’s office.

The Dzhankoy District Court, taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 6 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. The verdict of the court has not entered into force.
