In Sevastopol, district police officers detained a suspect in causing bodily harm to a local resident. And it all started with a peaceful picnic, barbecue and sociable conversations…
The applicant met his 33-year-old acquaintance on the street and they struck up a friendly conversation. Discussing common topics, the men decided to continue communication and at the same time celebrate the meeting by cooking barbecue and drinking alcoholic beverages together. A little later, one of them invited another acquaintance to their company, and this became a reason for a quarrel. During the conflict, which escalated into a fight, a 33-year-old man struck several blows in the face of a drinking buddy. The resulting injuries forced the victim to seek medical attention.— in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol they talked about the «picnic».
As a result of the measures taken, the district police officers of the MIA of Russia in the Gagarinsky district detained the suspect. A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of minor bodily harm”). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to two years.
